Sometimes experimental art has to fail to prove its limits. The finale of Bermagui’s Sculpture on the Edge was to have been Tanja Heights ceramist Yuri Wiedenhofer’s Fire Sculpture to follow his prize-winning success at Jindabyne’s Sculpture by the Lake . Alas it seems that the technology/scale nexus got out of whack! Knowing Yuri’s resolve, we’re sure he won’t be beat. Next year?
